UraniumSA in Whyalla

The UraniumSA Samphire project site is located 20km southwest of Whyalla.

This is the first new Greenfield uranium discovery in Australia since 1986. It has the potential to deliver jobs and economic benefits to Whyalla and surrounding regions.

The Samphire project is current development proposals, should the field trial be successful, indicate the creation of 40 to 60 direct jobs. Wherever possible, UraniumSA will source its workforce supplies and resources locally.

It is important that UraniumSA listens to and understands the needs of the communities we are operating in. Since UraniumSA was established in 2006, we have been actively involved in with the community and are committed to good, open information sharing.

We make available regular information sessions in Whyalla to provide updates about our operations and to receive community feedback.
